Here’s a website that I created for my church. It claims to be a fellowship for people who don’t like church. I’m personally rather fond of church myself. I’ve attended it my whole life. But this church is pretty cool, and is indeed rather different from what I’ve attended in the past. I like traditional church, and I like this too.
The site’s not too fancy, but it gets the job done.

That is very cool. There is definitely a place for an unchurch. Churches, even the ‘primitive’ Protestant denominations of America, have gotten pretty codified and unapproachable to outsiders. I think as church-goers (rather than members of the universal church), we need to recognise that it’s our personal taste for ritual and structure and not something that’s essential to worshipping God.
Hmm. I guess I like traditional church, too. But I don’t think it’s worth very much right now.
Glad you like the idea. It just started about a month ago, and we’re starting to see some people who wouldn’t step in a church otherwise.
